Privacy Policy

Twelvemonth is a restaurant, bar and bakehouse at 330 Lorton Avenue in Burlingame, California. This page explains what information we collect when you visit our website, reserve a table, order from us or get in touch, and what we do with it. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

What we collect, and why

Reservations

Table reservations run through OpenTable. When you book, OpenTable collects your name, contact details, party size and any notes, and shares them with us so we can seat you. OpenTable's own privacy policy governs what it does with that information.

Online ordering and gift cards

Pickup orders and gift cards are handled by Toast. Toast collects your order, contact and payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive what we need to prepare your order.

Our shop

Pre-orders, tickets and other items sold at twelvemonthburlingame.com/shop are ours. We collect your name, email address, phone number and your pickup or event choices so we can fulfill the order and reach you if something changes. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We send order confirmations, reminders and any cancellation or refund notices by email, and we keep order records for accounting.

Contact and press inquiries

The contact form collects your name, email address and message, plus your outlet and deadline for press requests. We store the message and email it to our team so we can reply. If you tick the box to hear from us, we keep your email address for occasional updates until you ask us to stop. To limit spam, we store a one-way hash of the sending address, not the address itself.

Private events

Private event inquiries use a form provided by Tripleseat, which collects your contact details and event needs under its own privacy policy and delivers them to our events team.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited, on what kind of device and from roughly where. Analytics never loads on shop checkout and payment pages. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking analytics in your browser.

Photos taken at the restaurant

Our team photographs food, drinks and the room for our social media. Those photos sometimes include guests. If you appear in a photo we have posted and would rather not, email us and we will take it down.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the business: OpenTable for reservations, Toast for ordering and gift cards, Stripe for shop payments, Tripleseat for events, Resend for sending our emails, Supabase and Vercel for hosting our website and its data, and Google for analytics. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks. We will disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as accounting and tax rules require. We keep contact messages while we are handling them and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep your email address for updates until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.

Your choices

Email frontdesk@twelvemonthburlingame.com to see what we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, or to stop receiving updates. We will answer within thirty days. For information held by OpenTable, Toast or Tripleseat, their privacy policies explain how to make the same requests of them.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, let us know and we will delete it.

Security

Our website is served over HTTPS. Access to the information described here is limited to the members of our team who need it to do their jobs.

Changes

When we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new effective date.
